Contact
Write to us at contact@trainchartvacancy.com
contact@trainchartvacancy.com is a real, monitored mailbox. It was tested on 3 September 2026 with a message sent from an outside account, and the message arrived. If you write and hear nothing, assume we have not read it yet rather than that it bounced.
The address is worth using for one thing above all: telling us a page here is wrong. A correction that names the page, quotes the line, and gives the published source that contradicts it will change the page, and the correction will be recorded on our corrections page. That is the most useful message you can send us.
What to use instead, right now
Almost everything people want to write to a site like this about is something only the railways can answer, and those channels do work today:
- Your PNR, your booking, your refund: the RailOne app, irctc.co.in, or the railway enquiry number 139.
- A complaint about a train, a station or staff: Rail Madad, the Ministry of Railways' grievance service.
- Whether your train has actually been charted: the Railway's own online charts at irctc.co.in/online-charts. That is the authoritative answer, not this site.
If you have found a mistake on this site
Write to contact@trainchartvacancy.com with the page, the line, and the published source that contradicts it. You can also check us yourself. Every explainer on this site ends with a Sources list of the actual documents behind it — circulars, the 2015 refund rules, PIB releases — linked to the original rather than to a summary. If a page disagrees with the document it cites, the document is right.
Where our timetable data comes from, and the defects we know it has, is set out on how this data is made.
Two kinds of report change pages here: a factual error with the published source that contradicts it, and a Railway Board circular or letter newer than the one a page cites, with its number and date.
What we cannot do at all
We are an independent information site with no connection to IRCTC, Indian Railways or CRIS, and no access to the reservation system. We will never be able to:
- book, change, cancel or confirm a ticket
- look up, change or influence your PNR status
- process a refund or a TDR, or chase one on your behalf
- get you a berth, an upgrade or a quota allotment
Please do not send us these
Your PNR number. We do not store PNRs and could not look one up in any case.
Payment details, or your Aadhaar or other ID numbers. We never ask for these and have no use for them. Nobody legitimately representing this site will ever ask you for them — and if anyone does, whatever they are, they are not us.
