We are not an official source. Everything on this site is information we have compiled from published documents and third-party data feeds. It is not a reservation, not a confirmation, and not an authority for travel.
The data may be delayed, incomplete or wrong. Live availability comes from a commercial third-party provider and is cached on our servers, so a figure you see may be minutes or hours old — every such figure is stamped with the time in IST at which it was fetched. Timetable data comes from a public feed that contains known defects. Chart timings shown for a train are targets worked out from the first-chart rule set out on when the chart is prepared, which rests on a Railway Board letter of 16 December 2025 as reported in the press; they assume charting at the originating station and they are not guarantees. Railways do miss them.
Rules change, sometimes without notice. The first-chart timing stood unchanged from October 2015 to April 2025, then changed three times in the eight months that followed. We date every page and cite the document behind each claim so you can check whether it still holds.
Always confirm on the official source before you travel. For PNR status and reservation charts, use the Railway's own channels: irctc.co.in, the online chart service at irctc.co.in/online-charts, the RailOne app, the enquiry number 139, or a station enquiry counter. If anything on this site disagrees with those, they are correct and we are not.
